Small, established company in the Pittsburgh area is looking to bring on their first HR professional.  They are seeking a hands-on practitioner with proven Generalist based skills and experience.  This is a fully encompassing HR role, with both tactical and strategic components (HR department of One).  Duties include:  coaching and consulting, training and development, perforance reviews, payroll, safety, policy review and enforcement, employee relations (discipline-termination processes) and benefits administration.  The HR Specialist will wear many "hats", but the focus will be on Recruitment and HRIS systems.  Preferred applicants will have a minimum of 5 years of diverse HR experience with extensive knowledge of HR principles and practices, have prior experience leading HR in a small (50 ees) environment, successfully passed the SHRM certification test (CP-SCP) and have a Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred)

HR Generalist (mfg), Burgettstown $67K + bonus and flex hours

Wonderful opportunity for mid/junior level Recruiter to own the TA function for an exciting organization in the Pittsburgh area.  Will be responsible for driving the recruiting efforts and generating a pipeline to talent for a variety of positions.  Duties will include:  developing, facilitating and implementing all phases of the recruitment process, onboarding and training, posting and maintaining job postings, ability to create and update job descriptions with department managers, scheduling and coordinating candidates, utilizes job boards, social media and other resouces as needed to generate a flow of applicants, ensures compliance with state, local and federal employment laws, assists the HR Manager as needed.  Profile & Requirements:  3+ years in a recruiting role, software savvy with prior exposure to HRIS, ATS and MS Office programs.  Must be self-directed and organized, possess a high ethical standard and a passion for creating an excellent work culture.   Advanced negotiation tactics and communication skills with the ability to build trust and credibility with others.  Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.  

Title IX and Compliance Coordinator, Higher Education - Washington PA  $55-70K DOE

This specialized role is responsible for education and training to prevent sexual misconduct, as well as oversight of the process for investigating and resolving matters arising under Title IX on campus.  Will serve as the Compliance Officer with responsibility for monitoring and coordinating regulatory compliance across all operating divisions and promoting the highest standards of ethics, integrity and responsibility among all campus employees, students and contracted vendors.  Requirements:  Masters degree + 3-5 years of experience in higher education, including formal Title IX responsibilities.  Working knowledge of all federal law and regulations, including the Clery Act and the Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act.  Advanced training, communication and investigative skills.  For full job descripition, please contact me.
